Retired from the University of Montevallo after 32 years of service. Last position held was Executive Assistant to the President. In October 2015, was appointed by the State Auditor to serve a four-year term on the Shelby County Board of Registrars. Will begin a 2-year term as 1st VP of the Vignette Club in April 2016. Active member of First Baptist Church of Columbiana. Married to Bruce Cooper, a retired high school Spanish teacher.
