Greg is a graduate of both the University of Montevallo and the University of Alabama.  He has degrees in both Social Science and Library and Information Science.  Greg spent over 27 years as an educator where he taught History and English, coached various sports, and sponsored various academic teams.  He also spent over 13 years as a high school librarian.  Throughout his career as an educator, Greg has had the opportunity to interact with and impact a wide variety of people.  Greg enjoys all types of music and has been helpful in managing the lighting needs in our beautiful Song Theater.  Greg’s role at the SCAC will allow him to participate in the daily facets of the Shelby County Arts Council’s programs as well as research and develop additional funding opportunities.  Greg, his wife, and his son are long-time residents of Alabaster, Alabama and enjoy being an active part of the greater Shelby County community.
