Published Artist: 1. “Toby the Turtle Who Could Sing” Children’s book published with 21 color illustrations from original watercolors . 2. “The Christmas Angel” Book and matching doll. All color illustrations are of personal design . The Christmas Angel is in the second year of strong sales at Book a Million book stores.3. Southern Living and Birmingham Magazine features.
Working Artist : 1. Dozens of small to large scale interior and exterior murals for businesses, churches and homes throughout the state. Listings of locations and clients available upon request. Public murals currently on display include; Trentuno’s Italian Café, Pelham, Alabama, and First Baptist Church, Pelham, Alabama.
Fine Artist : As a fine artist, feature and solo gallery shows covering many years and venues. Shows include but are not limited to the successful Folk-American Music show at the Shelby County Arts Council gallery in 2012 and 2013. Current full time gallery representation is located at the Daniel Day Art Gallery on 3025 6th Avenue South Birmingham, Alabama.
Teaching Musician: Roots Music Class in conjunction with Shelby County Arts Council including class curriculum, classroom management and execution. Classes consisted of American Music History and some basic songwriting and harmonica skills. The emphasis was on building confidence and relieving stress while imparting valuable knowledge of the roots of American music. The class was taught successfully in the Shelby County Alternative School and, most recently, the Shelby County Juvenile Detention Center.ALABAMA BLUES PROJECT: Instructor and Camp Coordinator. Harmonica Instruction and organization at this award winning, well established 501-3c organization based in Tuscaloosa, AL.TWO TIME FINALIST: In the 2009 and 2018 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee representing Alabama.2017 Alabama Blues Hall of Fame inductee
Song Writing: Original song “Must Be Love” was played on BBC radio in 2009 in high rotation as evidenced by a 9 week favorable position in the Cash-Box Blues and Boogie Charts for the year.
Song Writing: Goin’ Fishin’ (as performed by current band 2BLU AND THE LUCKY STIFFS) maintained top ten rating for nine consecutive weeks on the Blues Power Charts (a popular, long running blues internet based radio station)
Standing member of the BLACK JACKET SYMPHONY: Chosen for audition and awarded role of Mick Jagger in the production of The Rolling Stones, LET IT BLEED album performance. Show recorded sold out audiences for all four performances at WorkPlay Theater in Birmingham, Alabama.
