Rigid Heddle Weaving: Advanced Rigid Heddle Techniques
Saturday, July 17th
9am – 3pm (with a 1 hour lunch break, 5 hours workshop time)

Supplies provided: use of a pre-warped rigid heddle cricket loom, yarn threader, yarn to choose
from, shuttles, yarn needles, scissors
This workshop will walk weavers through several ways of creating variety including leno lace, pick up sticks and brooks bouquet. Participants will use a pre-warped loom. If a participant has a loom of their own they would like to use the instructor can send the warping instructions to them to get it warped ahead of class. Participants will need to have basic rigid heddle loom skills.
Looms will be provided. You will have the opportunity to purchase a loom and/or other weaving accessories at the end of class.
