Fine Folk Art VII Exhibit
The Shelby County Arts Council is happy to welcome back for the seventh year the Fine Folk Art Exhibit curated by Teresa Wamble. The exhibit will take place in the spacious new EBSCO Fine Art Gallery at the Shelby County Arts Center. This exhibit features some of the most talented folk artists from the southeast. Fine Folk Art, an intentional play on words, simply means that we believe we have some of the finest folk artists around that deserved to be showcased.
Each artist bring their own unique folk art twist to this exhibit. Their work ranges from gourd art, to block printing, to mixed-media paintings, and 3D work with found materials. The 2020 exhibit will feature the work of Jon Osborne, Marian Baker, Teresa Wamble, Don Sawyer, Debra Riffe, and Xander Booker. Work will also be for sale in this exhibit!
Join us for the Fine Folk Art VII gallery opening reception (social distance style) on Thursday, July 16th from 6-8pm. This reception is free and open to the public. Grab your mask and grab some friends and join us!
