This is a walled outdoor “garden”area adjacent to the SCAC Visual Arts Studio. When appropriate, art classes can be held outdoors in this “garden/patio space”. This area will be a manicured green space with a concrete/paver area and could serve as an alternate back entrance to the art studios.

Join us Sunday December 10th at 4pm for a heartwarming Christmas show, featuring nationally known storyteller Dolores Hydock. Dolores will be accompanied by award winning multi-instrumentalist Bobby Horton (from Three on a String). Among other accolades, Bobby played and scored all the music for Ken Burns documentaries on Public Television. This will be an afternoon of stories and traditional songs sure to put you in the holiday spirit.

Act of Congress is back by popular demand, kicking off their Christmas concert season right here at the SONG theater Columbiana, AL!
“Act of Congress is one of the freshest sounding, exuberant bands in all of the known acoustic universe” – Higgs of NPR. The organic sound of Act of Congress is consistently voted one of the “Must See Live Acts of Alabama.” AOC has completed five tours as U.S. Cultural Ambassadors, led by the U.S. State Department. AOC has performed in countries including Thailand, Oman, Palau, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Philippines, Timor-Leste, Bali, Liberia, and Jordan. Highlights from recent trips include independence day entertainment for Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and the Liberian government, and a feature performance at Jordan’s celebrated Jerash festival.
