Austin Foster, tenor, is a native of Columbiana, Alabama. He first expressed an interest in singing at the age of four, when he sang his first solo at Bethel Baptist Church. He attended Shelby County High School, where he played trombone in the Pride of Shelby County Marching Band and sang in the chamber and show choirs. At an early age, Austin began traveling and singing Southern Gospel music with his father, Ron Foster, across the southeast. He has recorded and released two singles, both reaching significant positions in the Singing News Charts. He is regularly contracted out with several churches as soloist and chorus member including South Highland Presbyterian Church and St. Theresa Catholic Church. He may also be seen regularly singing on EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network). Austin is currently a senior at Samford University studying Vocal Performance, and plans to pursue a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance, as well as a DMA in Voice Pedagogy.
