2012 Instructor/Student Art Exhibit
Over 60 paintings are part of the Annual Instructor/Student show at the Shelby County Arts Council. This event draws a large crowd of family, friends and art lovers to the gallery located in Columbiana, Alabama. The students work makes up the majority of the art exhibit. Paintings and pottery from classes and all age groups are part of the show. In addition to the paintings and pottery, select students who participate in the Montevallo Community School of Music shared their talents with the crowd at the opening. Students played the piano and the guitar to the delight of those in attendence.
The Shelby County Arts Council offers visual and performance art classes throughout the year. Our annual openhouse will take place on Thursday, August 23 from 4-6pm. We invite everyone to come by and meet the instructors and enjoy priority registration.
